: (1) In order to achieve the objectives mentioned in the regulations, the cooperative organization may conduct a social audit on the matters such as the decisions and actions taken by the committee, the level of service and satisfaction received by the members, the positive changes in the economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects of the members' living standards as a result of receiving the service.
(2) The committee shall submit the report of the social examination as per sub-section (1) to the general meeting for discussion.
(3) After discussing the social inspection report submitted in accordance with sub-section (2), the general assembly may give instructions to the committee as required.
(4) A copy of the social inspection report as per this section shall be submitted by the concerned cooperative society to the Registrar or the officer authorized by the Registrar and in the case of a cooperative bank to the Nepal Rastra Bank.
